Well, it's big, and bits are shiny:

100 litre shiny pot, gives a 70 litre brewlength - no sparge.

Makes ales comparable to my 50 litre vessel RIMS - in fact, this was going to be a RIMS upgrade, but I haven't got round to it yet....I'm thinking of a reverse flow Spiedel like setup, but the beer is so easy to make with BIAB, I'll probably not get round to it for a while, as I have some other things going on.

Regards,

Simon.

That's mental. Is that an engine crane? You must be using one strong voile! Well done for taking a concept to it's logical conclusion, respect. T

Yes, its an engine crane- I haven't got any engines to lift just now.

It is just ordinary nylon voile offcut - cost me £3 - I've oversewn it a lot, using nylon thread, and the handles are +++ reinforced. I've got 8kg of Munich, 5 Kg Maris Otter and 2Kg Lager malt in there, plus whatever the water absorption is (? 1Kg/litre). It has coped very well.

(Used the sewing machine I bought SWMBO )

Simon.
