Hi - I have a 10 Litre plastic bucket with a lid that I don't currently use - is this suitable for a HERMS bucket or should I look for something smaller? Didn't want to start chopping up my 10mm copper until..
I use a 10ltr bucket for my HERMS, but according to Forum general opinion, the smaller the volume the better.
I've bought my self an Asda, cheepo, jug kettle and am going to copy richardsanson's idea! Clicky
just been out to the shed and... I have a 5 litre sturdy bait bucket that I used to use for my barbel fishing. If I can get enough coil in there and maybe put the element at the bottom then that may well do.
