1 Litre Bottles? Brown? Clear?

Im thinking about getting some 1 Litre bottles to make capping a lot easier. Would clear ones stored in the dark be really bad? Do they need to be glass? Any help?

I've just bought 24 clear 1L bottles. I'm hoping the answer will be they're okay :?
They will be stored cold and dark so I can't see a problem with it.

I prefer brown bottles to prevent skunking but I have used clear in the dark with decent results. Good luck!

hi kyral.
i use recycled 1 litre clear plastic fizzy juice bottles stored in a dark cool cupboard and they seem to work fine, never had any problems so far, but then again theyre never stored for very long :grin:

Do you know I have been using this forum for a year and I never even saw the link to the FAQ at the top of the page, and I doubt many others have too, as it disappears as soon as you scroll.

It should work - Belgians stick their green bottles in tissue paper and use it as a label!

Maybe it will be a new packaging style
