“New” in malt miller...

Hello all,
Just looking at stuff on Malt miller web site....the option for 5 x 5 kg in the 25 kg bags of malt has now been added,cost £3 extra. Also I notice they have a hop for sale...Idaho 7....”very powerful tropical fruit with resin and a touch of black tea”....sounds great for an IPA...£2.50 for 100g.....anyone tried this one?

just came across your post while looking for an Idaho 7 supplier who offers free delivery! Hope you snapped a few up at that price, did you try them?

I've done a small batch American pale ale, half Idaho half Citra, fermented out in 4 days and tastes great even before dry hopping and carbonating.

I had an Idaho 7 single hop IPA a while back. Quite drinkable but didn't stand out. A bit fruity but also quite herbal/minty if I remember correctly. Might work well with Citra.

I bought some wai-iti in sale from malt miller when you checked description it said .15kg so I ordered 3x. Only 300g turned up instead of the 450g. I emailed and they sent me another 200g at their cost. They’ve updated the page now. But a good company for quick delivery.

Let us know how it turns out, i'm kegging my 8 litres today, smelt and tasted great 2 days into the dry hopping so fingers crossed.

Just to update, the Idaho 7 / Citra American IPA is in the keezer and draining quickly, really peaches and oranges on the nose with i great bitterness, absolutely lovely, i'd be chuffed to bits if i found this in a pub!
