    Water when using liquid malt extract

    Hi all, Can I use ONLY distilled water for 23L batch when using liquid malt extract, and will I get desired 5.2-5.6 PH of the wort, or I still need to adjust PH to get 5.2PH? Also, I'm planning to add one sachet (4g) of yeast nutrient. Thanks for all replies.

    LME or SME

    I have recently moved from Australia to the Midlands. Over there, lots were using the tins of Liquid Malt Extract (LME), however on goint to my local brew shop it seems that Spray Malt Extract (SME) is all the rage. In fact the shop I went to did not have any tins of LME at all. This is a shame...
