Started this last Friday with recommended amount of normal granulated sugar 3.5 kg from memory topped up to 22l At witch point It did smell promising altho a bit thin. Added yeast and nutrients supplied with the kit and it was up and going withing a cuppel of hours checked the gravity last night as the instructions say it can be done within a week but still had some way to go1.050. this could be down to my cellar getting colder around 17.c (dam British weather ) up to now I'm quite impressed for a 16 quid kit its not looking to shabby. Altho if I were to do this again I would add some cheapo Wight and red grape juice to get some more flavor.
