    Daft question, but is it viable to use one can from a two can kit and use half the sugar/water? In other words brew 20 pints from a 40 pint kit. The reason I ask is my keg is full of stout and I only have enough bottles for around 20 pints; stocking up for xmas :drink: Thanks.

    Thanks for the advice guys, really useful. Cellar temp is aprox 16 degrees, drops to about 12 in the depths of the winter season.
