    thanks. maybe i should go for the plastic plate approach then as i cant really afford to go down the sainless steel route. unless anyone knows where to get a stainless steel false bottom on the cheap or some thing else i could use? cheers

    how long will a brew take to settle when its moved?

    i took one down to a mates for bonfire night. took it down there around 10 in the morning and started drinking it that night at around 9 and it was fine.
