Was looking at this, didn't go last year, but came across it again for this years, might have to go along and have a look even if a trip into London is on my least liked things to do list.

Watching some of the videos coming out of the US Homebrew Con and saw this, nice idea for portability or just a lack of space on a full time basis. Certainly one I may entertain in the future for a little DIY project.

Yep, no different than any other brew day, my current tun is a home made insulated plastic bucket, it gets a good pre-heat before use.

That looks lovely, and already have a thermo pot on my wish list for Mash Tun upgrade in the future.

I've used one inside and out, belt and braces approach, but the inside one has a flat stainless washer covering it as well.

I used Dowty washers on my ball valve taps as I could never get them totally leak free, they are great and they work a treat. That said I had one main problem with my tap in that the silicone o-ring that was meant to go with the nut was the wrong size, fixing that and adding the dowty washers...
