    Oh ok , the only reason i went with 26 was the instructions on the Black Rock kit said 25-28c . Thanks though il try it lower on my next batch.

    Well im new all round! Last tuesday put my first ever brew in , the 5gal black rock cider kit and now have another supermarket apple juice cider in a DJ . I fancied a go at this WOW now as everybody on here was raving about it! Chris

    Ok thanks for yoir quick replys guys . In my excitment to get going i overlooked the fact I dont have any wine yeast . Just possibly some baking yeast! Is specific brewing / wine yeast a must and whats the difference? Still learning so its all good info!. Thanks again Chris

    Hi , Never made wine before but I really want to get a gallon of WOW going tonight but have no pectolase or tannin etc ? Are these vital and what are there uses. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Chris

    Thats pretty much what i have done now . I ripped out all the shelves etc and fitted a heater and thermostat and my fermentation cupboard seems to be keeping a nice stable 26 for my cider out in the garage with an ambient of 4nor 5 without having to build an insulated box so it could be ideal...

    Hi , Finally got myself some equipment and a Black Rock cider kit . Initially started in my cold garage with a brew belt and some insulation but overnight the temp hit over 30! . After that i got hold of an old fridge , an 80w heater and a thermostat and now seem to have a resonably stable...
