Just received enough yeast and hops from them for my next 6 or so brews. Also downloaded all the recipes. Wish they weren't closing down :(

Not sure where I'll go to for Herkules hops for my Paulaner Weiss Clone:(

Free gas. 18 litre corny fill instead of 19?

could you install a bladder onto gas post and pump air in to maintain pressure?

    Kits I Wouldn't Brew Again

Still lots of average to bleh kits out there, but some good ones. Mangrove Jack's Raspberry Berliner Weisse was very tasty. Brewed e times so far and have one left. Shame it's discontinued.

    Ignore, can't delete

Just ignored this for the first time, I'll ignore again just before Christmas.

    Pinter for all grain…

You could make a hop tea and add via the hopper?

    Pinter for all grain…

I have an AIO and a stainless fermenter but I do like fermenting small batches in a 10 litre cornie. Great for a Helles or Weiss that doesn't need dry hopping.

    Pinter for all grain…

Also, when you reattach doc the Pinter is under pressure. When you abruptly repressurise dock it can break a lug and forcibly detach. As I found out trying to do a dry hop. Get a 10l cornie, a floating dip tube and a spunding valve. You can depressurise, chuck in hops and purge.

    Pinter for all grain…

Pinters break easily, I have had 5 fail so far. (Got 5 free, I'm not daft). A 10 litre cornie is a far better way of pressure brewing small batch. There's now way to tell if a Pinter has finished fermenting and since the PRvs frequently allow the Pinter to over pressurise fermentation can fail...

    Electric cars.

Don't buy them on PCP then. I've just ordered a Lotus Eletre S on PCH for a little over £600 a month (£611 to be precise). Residuals are the finance company's problem. I'm retired, so no salary sacrifice for me :(

    Favorite Beer Styles Discussion

Oude Geueze for me, love the dry partners and the complexity of the older beers. Can't beat a Hefe Weiss on a hot or snow day and partial to a raspberry wit.

Young drivers face £3,000 cost for car insurance

Try adding loads of additional mature drivers. I shaved another £400 off my daughter's insurance by adding my wife as well as me plus my brother and a mate.

    Electric cars.

I just drove Dover to Edinburgh with one 15 min coffee and pee break and one 4 min fuel top up. Took me 12 hours. Never again. My new Lotus Eletre won't let me anyway. 😆

    New Lalbrew IPA yeast.

I've never seen that, especially on draft.

    New Lalbrew IPA yeast.

Try the Paulaner recipe below, ingredients from Paulaner's website. Was my first all grain, tasted fantastic. https://homebrewanswers.com/paulaner-hefe-weissbier-clone-recipe/
