    Favorite Beer Styles Discussion

I have a strong distaste for anything that is citrusy! I tend to avoid most IPAs, especially the modern ones. I do like a good traditional amber bitter. Stouts, with their chocolaty tastes and oatiness. ATM I am really enjoying weissbeer. I have always loved a good Belgian beer. Mass produced...

    Using an indoor fridge outside

Not the same, but in a similar vein. I have used a washing machine and tumble dryer stored outside for over 15 yrs in a gkeyer garden store. They are plumbed in and wired to an outdoor electric box installed by an electrician on their own circuit. They do seem to last a little shorted than if...

    New Capri

If you think about anti-competitive, why do you think we have been in the dark ages regards EVs for so long? It doesn't suit the powerful petrochemical industries to have EVs on the road. They want ICE cars to line their pockets. What we really.need is for the government to mandate petrol...

    European Championship

Never liked Kane.m and agree would have been better to have not taken him. As others have said, Southgate is a reactive not proactive manager. The team needed to have played at a much faster pace throughout the whole match (and tournament). I thought we were lucky to have got into the final...

    Elderflower Champagne Alternative

Not sure if this is the right thread. I made a delicious gooseberry champagne years ago. It had a very balanced taste. But then again, 25 years ago, it was the closest I could aggord to champagne so what did I know lol.

    Electric cars.

Octopus here. I charge overnight and also set washing machine and tumble dryer for the 7.5p rate. Also put the dishwasher on overnight, but since it has not time I need to remember to switch it on on my way to bed. After 6 months...I still forget and SWMBO doesn't even know we have a dishwasher lol.

    Bacon!

Thinking of buying a cheap smoker for bacon, but can only afford about £50. Any recommendations? I normally make streaky bacon, so a belly joint size about 2.5kg is as big as I go at any one time, so not huge. But might also try smoking salmon. Thanks in advance!!

    Electric cars.

I love the power regen system. I often drive one peddle now, with my foot hovering over the brake peddle just in case.

    Shopliftting.

Tbh, as a magistrate, I see low value shoplifting every time I'm in court. Anything from £20 upwards. But all crimes are under-reported, and under-prosecuted.

    Shopliftting.

For first offences Anyone who has any sort of record will come through the court system.

    Shopliftting.

These are seen in Magistrates Court. It means they just dont/can't be sent upto Crown Court. Whoops should have read down to the end of the thread, Leon said the same!! Lol

    Shopliftting.

I work in the law system, people are often prosecuted for shoplifting under £200. And very often under £100.
