Entry is open to anyone from anywhere. And normally gets sold out pretty fast.
Scotland is pretty nice (obviously not as nice as NZ 😉)
But it's currently dumping down with snow, so the fermenters are heating at full noise to keep up
I've sent xozzx a message and will get him a couple of imperials in the post
it's an excellent aroma hop in the boil, but not great as a flavour dry hop, it's pretty similar to fuggles and is a bit earthy.
It might work in a stout though.
I have used it to dry hop a pale ale, and wasn't very impressed.
Did 70l of imperial ginger stout yesterday,
Managed to blow 2 elements.
1 in the hlt and the other in the boil kettle, so it was a stupidly long brew session.
Fairly decent og of 1.102 and a semi respectable 71% efficiency
Hi guys,
Just joined, I'm a kiwi living up in Scotland. Just south of Edinburgh
I brew allgrain, on a 3 vessel kit.
Mostly big imperials, with the odd wheat beer, cream ale or what ever else take my fancy.
