Is it possible to build up a variety of yeasts and keep them for different styles ? I understood that it wasn't possible to keep them healthy for the months that would be required. I'm looking to improve , that's why I'm on here and any advice would be appreciated.

Hi , it appears that many brewers change yeast regularly for this or that beer . I overbuild a starter putting 1/2 Litre in the fridge and 1Litre in whatever I'm brewing . Seems to work well , I'll do 8 brews then buy a new yeast . Should I change yeast more often ?

I'm using a brew monk , taps , pump , blocked with leaf had to syphon into fv , used filter so the wort was clean but I just couldn't believe the difference in mess between leaf and pellets ! Lesson learnt 🙂
