    Home Brew in cold/cool house

So I pretty new to home brewing but due to knowing my house is pretty cold I purchased a heat mat for my FV. The only issue being I can only brew one brew at a time, I would like to have 2 going at least. So generally my average temp is 13-15 degrees, if I am going off the instructions most...

    Nucleated pint glasses?

I have some San Miguel ones they work great from my lager i have brewed. In other glasses it was like the beer was flat no head but very fizzy in the mouth. Will stick to the nucleated glass from now on.

Carbonation drops for 5lt mini keg

Any update? I think I used 5 in my Geordie Lager which is now down the drain as it was flat as anything. Good hiss when i popped the keg but on drinking there was no fizz at all. Bottles seem fine

    5L Keg / Bottling

No I think I went off No instructions - Sounds like I under primed, might stick to using sugar for kegs in future or batch priming. Think I aired on the side of caution as didnt fancy a ballooned keg! Live and Learn

    5L Keg / Bottling

So I bottled around 40+ bottles of Geordie Lager and Keged the last bit of the brew. After 3 weeks tested the bottles and seem good, light but I was expecting that from this lager, maybe a little longer needed to carb up a bit more but I could drink now and wouldnt be a issue. As for the Keg...

    Bottle Tree

I am looking for a bottle tree, but struggling to get one for a reasonable price, those who have stock are extremely over priced. Brew2bottle and Getbrewed both have ones at my price point but no stock. Anyone any ideas of other stockists...

    My first brew

Great review - might have to try this one out. Currently about to bottle the Geordie Lager kit, had a few issues with the smell and taste when testing the gravity but left it a couple of days longer and it seems to be clearing.

    Acetaldehyde

I have decided to leave it til the weekend before a bottle it now in the hope that it clears somehow :) I think its reached its final gravity as its been 1.003ish for the last 3 days, but it will be much warmer in the fermenter as my house is like a ice box.

    Acetaldehyde - questions

My first brew was a Diablo IPA - which seems fine and is conditioning . This brew which am talking about is a Geordie Lager from Coopers: Yeast - i presume it was Ale yeast as per comments I have read and the heat the instructions stated. 18-22 Temp - been kept at 20-21 degrees for 12 days Air...
