    Eggs 🥚

I Keep Lohmann, Sussex and Welsummer, plus a friendly Welsummer cockerel (Eric) who doesn’t perform! He damaged a ligament in his leg which took 3 months of nursing so that he could walk again, but he is still a bit lame. He comes from show stock and I have got quite attached to him. We eat...

Only going off what the doctor told her. She never discussed vitamin K.

She couldn’t take any as she was on warfarin which is an anticoagulant. Vitamin D has also shown to have an anticoagulant effect as well so always best to check with doctor if in doubt.

    Covid -19 has risen "significantly".

No, what it means is that if the government routinely got susceptible people tested for Vitamin D deficiency and treated, they could have less people in icu, regardless of vaccine status. Whether someone decides to take the vaccine or not is going down a completely different rabbit hole.

Vitamin D is cheap so I don’t understand why they didn’t offer it at a higher dose than 400iu to the elderly etc, it might have kept more out of hospital. I remember my mum couldn’t take it though as she was on blood thinners so it’s always as well to check.

Yet the recent meta analysis you quote states As secondary endpoints, we also found a significant association between vitamin D status and the risk of SARS-CoV-2 infection and hospitalization. Taken together our results indicate that 25OHD is a marker of COVID-19 in-hospital severity and suggest...

Agree completely with this. My husband, I and our son have taken high dose vit D (5000iu), K2 and vit C for years, none of us have had covid and my husband was tested regularly at work. We stock ivermectin/zinc just in case. None of us have had the *** either.

    Heating oil

We use 3000 litres per year. A close neighbour has an old 5 bed stone farmhouse that has underfloor heating and he uses 1000 litres per month in winter! Then there is electric as well.

    Heating oil

That is a good price. Out of interest I have just got 3 quotes and they range from £2126 to £2317 for 1500 litres. That is in Lancashire.

    Heating oil

Luckily, I ordered my oil the week before the prices started going up but they only just delivered yesterday because they have been so busy. When I was chasing delivery, the guy I was speaking to at the company said they were now seeing companies letting you order 2 weeks in advance but you...

    Heat Source Pumps.

We aren’t in a position to do that again either, it was quite a while ago and we have moved house since. I was only giving my opinion from experience on how useless they are unless they are for a new build! As I said, we will be relying on stoves more than central heating as oil is getting so...

    Heat Source Pumps.

We installed a ground source heat pump in our previous house back in 2012. We did all the ground works ourselves and it still cost us £15,000 Back then. Got £11000 grant off the government, but I dread to think how much it would have cost if we hadn’t dug all the 3 x 60 meter, 1 meter deep and 1...
