    Brewery visits

I’m near Manchester. Really fancy northern monk and beavertown then on to Scandinavia. Iceland and Norway have some really interesting ideas

    Session Beer Kit recommendation.

The guy was an absolute gent, I’m sure he’d help a fellow brewer out. I’ll ask the question

    Brewery visits

Just wondering if anyone has visited any breweries in the UK and any recommendations or things they have learnt that may be useful. I’m really close to 7 brothers and Pamona island. I’ve visited cloudwater but sadly didn’t get to do the tour. I had a tour booked for ABC but this pesky COVID-19 hit.

    Ridiculous ebay homebrew listings

That’s a really good tip. I had a bad experience dry hopping with a bag I’d sanitised with Chemsan

I hope so. Great little setup he has. I can ask if he’s willing to share the recipe if you want me to ask?

    Session Beer Kit recommendation.

I met a guy yesterday called Laurence in Newcastle who only brews Newcastle exhibition. They don’t make it anymore but he got the recipe from the brewery and has perfected it. Really tasty beer. He said he shows it occasionally. Absolutely lovely guy and his setup was fantastic

    Integrated fridge for a kegerator

I built myself one using a second hand Smeg. I have to say I’m really pleased with the results. Sadly I have to sell due to relocation but have a look at malt millers smegerator video. It was incredibly helpful and the guys there really made things simple. Worth investing in quality tubing and...

    Wanted Corny Kegs

I bought one of the £55 ones from them and it’s functional but cosmetically a bit tatty. Great service but if I had to go again I’d go malt miller and get a new mangrove jacks

    The price of grain

It would be tariffs both ways so I’m hearing which would be an extra 20% in anything brought in and would hamper export opportunities. Sadly we import a lot more than we export as a country. Hopefully sense prevails in these negotiations but it’s been 4 years of positioning so who knows what we...

    The price of grain

I wouldn’t rule it out. The negotiations arnt going too well. I work in the food industry and A lot of companies are preparing for tariffs unfortunately.

    The price of grain

I think there’s an element of talking up the market. This happens every year. The biggest impact with be if we leave with a no deal as tariffs are likely to come in. There’s already talk of £350/T on sugar
