Strangely it seems to be working again now, but an error stopped me posting and so I set up another thread to continue the conversation here - viewtopic.php?f=21&t=19102 Fraser

    Newbie question coming through! Cont.

Apologies for the double post, but the original thread kept coming up with an error and not letting me post... I tried closing the browser, logging out and in again... Please see the original here - viewtopic.php?f=21&t=19101 That's exactly what I wanted to hear! :D However, while I've never...

    Newbie question coming through!

Thanks! To be honest, I'm pretty sure it's fatal and it's done its nasty thing... But less than 2 hours seems very quick for a whole 5 gallons to turn to vinegar... :? Fraser

    Newbie question coming through!

Hi there, I started my first batch yesterday, it's a Young's Ubrew bitter kit... At first it all looked good, smelled great, and had a perfect "foamy thing" that I've heard is good... It was bubbling away and building pressure, which because I have a plastic fermenter, I felt I should keep...

    College Brewing Newbie

I'm going to West Dean College to do Stringed Instrument Making, I.E. I rub pieces of wood until they become violins and viols, and make a nasty sound! (In the case of the viol at least!) Maybe bottles are the way to go, I'm trying to do this on as low a budget as possible for now... I'm...

    College Brewing Newbie

Well the title suggests most of it! I'm a student going off to college (for all intents and purposes, think University there), and I've been an avid beer drinker for the past 3 or so years. Mainly through supermarket beers, and through the local pub which tends to have nice beers from (mainly)...
