    Yeah. That's my thought I suppose. But is it possible that an otherwise fine tasting beer, that doesn't appear to have spoiled could make you ill (not in a hangover kind of a way) ?

    Is it possible to get ill from bad home brew beer? Last christmas I brewed up 40 pints of some kit based beer from one of the main kit producers. The beer was ok, bit marmitey (that yeasty tang that kits seems to be impart) and I (and some deserving friends) drank our way through 30 odd pints...

    Good book

    Hi chaps I want to brew my first beer (or ale) and am after recommendations for a good book on the topic available in the uk. I've done loads of kits but other than that I'm a total beginner. Any recommendations? Olly
