    HI , thanks for you kind reply, I fear its a bit late but im trying to put on a drinkable 'homemade brew' I dont want it too strong or too dry. the FG should be around 7.7% Im hoping to stop the fermentation around 1.000 and then sample to see if it needs sweetening. andy
