I have the koda gas one, makes fantastic pizza. Cant say I know what gas takes like and I work in the gas industry. Never had any complaints of off flavours in food I've served from either the pizza oven or gas BBQ. It's quick to get to temp. Gives a really good crisp base.

Is there a valve attached?

They use of DPD now, my last two orders came with them. Much more predictable service . I ordered on Thursday and DPD delivered Saturday morning.

Smoked about 4 large turkey breasts before. Always brined 24 hours before and the wrapped in streaky bacon.

I looked at the brewtools 80 but it looked too much of a faff , too many recommended extra valves etc. I wanted a simplified setup not a more over complicated one.

I just bought a bm50 after using a 3 vessel system for the past few years. It's a lovely piece of kit and takes up a lot less room in the garage .

A quick check on Hermes under 15kg is about £12. Elements are from brewbuiler secured with back nut .

Not sure I'll weigh it and check with Hermes don't feel too heavy though just bulky.
