I’ve got a couple of these crates: Beer Bottle Crate For 20 x Standard 9" High Beer Bottles https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00U19QMSE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_TJuZCb57ZJAGT They fit 500ml cap bottles. Too small for flip tops unless you put them in the top crate.

@Remi Gee that looks brilliant. In my experience of using it this is the best way to do it. Mine cut out so much from the grain burning onto the element I think it works much better as a boiler.

My replacement unit also had a cut out on the first use and I gave up. I’ve got a Braumeister now, but kept the Klarstein as a sparge water heater. I would absolutely use a bag within the malt pipe to help if I were to use it again to help stop the scorching on the element. The immersion...

I’m not sure how many they have left but he said to me another 3/4. I made an offer so didn’t pay £750. As to what makes them so much better: I don’t think they are so much better. They are good though.

I received my 10L version today. Really happy with it. Need to give it a good wash and sanitise before moving a 10L batch I have over to it.
