    Yes my kit says two days! I’m lucky enough to have a cellar so once the secondary ferment is complete I can keep it in a cool dark place

    Hi, thank you for the welcome and tips. It’s just a Wilko IPA kit to start me off. All going well, I’ll do more. I have a beer shop in my street that sells everything like hops etc. If I get a taste for it and I’m brave enough I’ll give that a go!

    I wasn’t sure if that would let too much air into the batch. If I was to use the tap would you think it’s best to do it immediately or wait until the second ferment is complete?
