    Pre-picking today. Lovely warm lunchtime to get all the good ones. Drying at the moment. If I can be bothered I'll do a sweep of the stragglers we couldn't be bothered picking.

    I train mine horizontally along a fence. Needs care with the younger more fragile shoots but with a bit of patience it works.

    Obviously this was last night and not 10am on a Sunday morning. Brewdog can still do pretty decent stouts. Arcade City in particular was exceptionally good and I wish we’d bought more (barrel aged and soured)

    Festivals that feature food - why use a major brewery?

    The gathering (big music festival near me) was on the other month. It had no macro beer at all and everything was from 2 local breweries. One of whom sold out early. Hopefully they got some converts.
