This thread made me read an interesting article that said a cars speedo tends to overestimate speed due to a margin for wheel size, tyre wear etc, whereas a sat nav tends to underestimate die to turns, rises in road etc, I guess it's a case of using sat nav and looking but yes there are not...

Get young celery if you can, jan/Feb is the season but it will be forced all year, stalks in middle are best, stuff in supermarkets tends to be poor so unless you have a farm shop you can get to.....

As I've said it's the law, and yes sometimes it's not signed enough but even in that case a sat nav wouldn't help you if it was as they dont change at the sign post so likely you would have been pinged anyway, same applies to temporary speed limits, a sat nav wont help.

And if you didn't have a sat nav? YOU are the driver not the sat nav. It's not having a go at you but it's how the law would see it, too many people rely on sat nav and dont pay any attention to what is happening around them.

I half agree but you should still know the limit, there are always signs as you go into a different limit, as police would say if you were caught, my point was not to blame sat nav, it's an aid not something you obey to the letter, its amazing the amount of people have issues by listening to sat...

It may well clear once fermentation has finished, Let it run its course then siphon into clean demi, see how it goes from there.

Dont think I would as may spoil flavour, Maybe pour over boiling water and cool, then add campden.

As mentioned there may be enough yeast to get it going but I think I'd add flowers to water with a campden tab to kill off any bad things, then add the rest and some yeast the day after, Go for it, let us know how it turns out.

That I agree with, I think it unfair to blame Facebook for that though, it can happen on any platform and it does, a lot worse than what gets through on Facebook, Sadly it's the world we live in.
