I have just received the oxygen and tap like you use. However can you tell me about the hose line you use? I found the barb on the tap to be very narrow.
I am aiming to ferment with Kveik and am thinking of buying a brewbelt to keep the temp up. Does anyone know what temperature I could achieve using a brewbelt (of similar)?
Does anyone use this? It looks good but there don't seem to be any instructions about how to combine with the usual water treatment. So do I treat the water normally and add this stuff too or do I use this and then treat the water before fermentation? As I see it altering the mash for greater...
Is it necessary to maintain the high pitching temp throughout the fermentaion? or does the fermentation process create sufficient heat iteself?
If it's necessary to add heat any suggestions for a suitable method? (I don't have a fermentation fridge and I thought that Kveik may solve my problem).
Hi just seen your thread. I am in Edgware, not far, would it be possible to drop over to see what you have? Also possibly interested in the Grainfather.
Email: [email protected] - if it's easier.
Thanks
Bob
I have found a couple of videos on YouTube that to me pose a very interesting idea about controlling the mash. I guess it would work better with a thinner mash, but I am interested if anyone has tried this yet, and if so how did they find it.
I bought one from Buster. I heartily recommend him as someone to deal with. He was prompt, easy to deal with and I would have no problems dealing with him in the future.
