Our local chippy used to do a lunchtime special, small fish, small chips and peas with a can for £5. Stopped doing that now, small fish, small chips and peas now £7.20 plus £1.30 for a can. Is that the inflation we can look forward to?
I have posted this before. My method is to put any holes required through the step where the compressor is. This is a plastic area with no cooling tubes through. Just in case I use an old soldering iron to melt my way in. Although I have only done this in 2 fridges I have never had a problem...
Maybe they don’t have a good reputation but I have used them quite a bit in the past. Only problem I ever had was when I contacted them about an incorrect item. Didn’t have a reply to email but correct item was with me the next day.
I have only ever put holes in the plastic step that covers the compressor but I think my method could possibly help you. I use an old soldering iron. It easily goes through any plastic and insulation but should not damage any cooling coils.
If I have misunderstood your problem and this will not...
I remember something like this from many years ago. Was it George Formby? 😉
Sorry wrong quote. It should have been a reply to “Who is the only person to have won both the Motorcycle and Formula One grand prix world championships”

A local pub does a big steak challenge. The main item is 100oz steak. Eat the meal in the set time and it’s free. I could only consider it if the set time was 4 days. 😉
If all was bubbling nicely and it stopped when you added the hops. I would think the most probable reason is the lid is not properly sealed and co2 is finding an easier way out than through the airlock.
With regards to drilling into fridge and not damaging any cooling pipes. I went through the plastic wall between the fridge inside and the compressor box. I used an old soldering iron just in case there was anything there I could damage but all went well. It also gets a cable into the bottom of...
With being locked down I have been studying the birds visiting the garden rather than just counting them. Common birds like dunnocks and male house sparrows. Anybody else noticed that they are stunning looking.
