    I thought it was over

So I did a BIAB lager months ago and everything went well. After two weeks in a cupboard in the house to Carb up, I moved the bottles to the shed in around mid February. Left them for a few weeks and the bottles had cleared but it felt like the bottles had gotten softer (pet bottles) they were...

Brilliant, thanks for the advice mate. OG came out 1058 but I had a problem. The pump got blocked so I only got 15 litres out rather than 20. Pitched the rehydrate yeast anyway. Fingers crossed now

Too late I'm afraid, I've just finished cleaning up. Do you think it will turn out too sweet maybe without the bitterness? Hopefully it has a light ish lager feel to it. I've never used this yeast before, actually forgot it was there, hence the mix and match job with grain and hops

Diacetyl rest and tempreture before bottling

Hi guys, I've got my fermentation bucket on a thermostat controlled heat pad for the first time so I can raise the temperature I'm 3 days away from bottling as that will be the two week mark, and I'm wondering if I should raise the temp for those last 3 days ? Do people do this or have I picked...

Which all in one brewing system

I have a Brewster beacon and have done 4 brews on it so far. I'm very happy with it. The tempreture for mashing seems to hold steady with the pump for circulating. There is a water level gauge on the outside which is handy. Seems powerful enough and raises tempreture quickly. There is a filter...

How long have you been brewing for?

Started with a kit for xmas about 10 years age and swiftly moved onto BIAB. Results were mixed to say the least and I stopped about 5 years ago, restarted in january when I bought a brewster beacon.
