Was very pleasantly surprised with how it turned out. It had quite a bitter tang to it which I didn't expect but overall was nice. I noticed I had put a line on top of some bottles which I think meant I put more priming solution in those. I better be careful opening them as the normal ones were...
So I've just found the 16 bottles of this that I bottled on 13th October 2021. Been sat quietly in my wardrobe for a year. I've popped two in the fridge to see what it's like.
Finally made this last night with a few alterations.

1045 SG so a pretty shoddy efficiency but I wasn't expecting miracles from a stovetop...
Good haul that Clint. I did all my potatoes in pots this year and they came out ok. Just picked a load of Jalapenos and pickled them as well. Struggling to get rid of all the cherry tomatoes this year, I may have gone a bit overboard.
Yeah 10L is the maximum I do really. Hence all the odds and ends I've got lying around. Glad it can be used up to make something tasty though.
As for the mash temp, what would you suggest HB? I do stovetop BIAB and usually go for 65C as a general rule but if it's going to add a bit of body and...
Haven't brewed in a while but want to get something on for Christmas and looked at what I have leftover in the garage. Basically I want to make some sort of dark beer with what Ive got and I'm wondering if it's going to be a catastrophe or tasty.
So I've currently got:
800g Vienna
500g Munich...
Well mainly I can't remember a time when I was a kid when Wales made a tournament. We were always supporting England as a kid. I especially remember World Cup 1998.
At the risk of being hunted down by my fellow countrymen I'm Welsh and will be supporting England. Will have to listen on the radio or something though as I'm night shift.
I grew Sarpo this year and didn't do anything special, just left them out for a bit in the tunnel and then potted them up. They seem to be growing well from the look of the growth on top of the buckets.
Like H said the pipe cutter is the best, you can get special wheels to cut through stainless. Someone I worked with got me a bag of cutting wheels when we were installing lubrication pipes onto conveyors but I don't know where they came from. A normal pipe cutter will work but you will very...
All the drug dealers/runners around me use these E scooters for super speedy deliveries. Often bombing towards oncoming traffic and straight through red lights. Like someone else said I think it's the pedal assist on a bike that means it's not a vehicle.
It's just trub. A whole whirlfloc for a 5L batch is way too much and causes the trub to clump up like that. I read somewhere to only use half a tablet in a standard 23L batch so I use quarter in my 11L batches. I also tip everything in and it's fine.
