Various all grain homebrew equipment including cornelius kegs

I have a huge amount of homebrew equipment for sale. All equipment is in excellent condition and full working order. I am only selling as its no longer required, full listing of everything below. Ideally I would like to try and sell this as a bulk lot (price is negotiable) via collection in...

Co2 charger or alternative for dispensing a corny on the move?

https://www.hopandgrape.co.uk/co2-ultra-flate-bulb-injector-for-cornelius.html Can get the charger and a bulb at hop and grape above as well as extra bulbs. I recently bought one (not from them I got it second hand) for the same purpose but haven't used it yet so would be interested to find...

Looking to try and get hold of a drip tray to go on the outside of my fridge. Is anyone on here selling one or able to recommend a good place to buy one? Cheers

    STC-1000

A few questions... Thinking about doing this but have a few questions. Currently I have a tall/larder fridge but my cornys are in it and so I wasn't planning on using it as a fermenting fridge but I might in future. My flat is already fairly cool most of the time so heating rather than cooling...

    Sight glass disaster

Can anyone link me to a decent thread describing a sparge arm build please? I have been meaning to build one for ages but simply haven't had the time. Have been using a roasting tin with holes drilled in it for a while and have had enough of that!

    Little Bottler dip tube

Yeah I've had to resort to the tipping method myself far too often! Will maybe give this method a try. Cheers

    Little Bottler dip tube

Sorry I'm just struggling to get my head around this. Is the hose adapter to go on the back of the little bottler tap inside the FV which you then connect a bit of tube to so that it reaches further down in the bucket when you are bottling...?

W(I)PA - Wheat (India) Pale Ale

Hopefully it wont impart toooo much colour, just give it a bit more of a darker golden colour but we shall see. Gonna try and get it on this weekend.

On the rocks mixed berry HEEEELLPPP!!!

You can still make this effectively without a second fermentation bin. The transferring to another bucket means that you will be getting rid of the majority of the sediment as you obviously leave that behind when you siphon. Once you have done this, you can leave it to mature for a number of...

W(I)PA - Wheat (India) Pale Ale

Cheers for the reply Strongarm. I mainly added the cara to give it a bit more body and colour so think I will keep it in. I was thinking about lowering the IBUs a touch too actually to something more around 25ish. Will be brewing this weekend all being good with my ingredients delivery!

    Sugar in Bottle?

You're better dissolving the sugar with a little boiling water and then stirring into your beer when you're ready to bottle after you have racked it (transferred from your primary fermentor to your secondary). Failing that giving the bottles a shake whilst they are carbonating doesn't hurt either.

W(I)PA - Wheat (India) Pale Ale

Hey, would appreciate any feedback on this! Made a Hefeweizen a while back that turned out really well so thought I would try making a nice, bitter, hoppy wheat beer. I've also been looking to use Galaxy for a little while so thought I'd use it now too! WIPA Wort Volume Before Boil...

    Bottling beers

Yeah I do similar but tend to try and use 330 bottles rather than big bottles so that I can pour into my glass in one smooth go. Always find more sediment in the second half of 500+ml bottles if you pour half out each time.

Pretty interesting article on the 'freshness' of beer

http://drinks.seriouseats.com/2014/04/how-to-buy-fresh-beer-why-beer-freshness-matters-bottled-dates-tips.html?ref=excerpt_readmore Interested to see what people think of this. Goes against most of what I've heard regarding homebrewed beer. Thoughts?

    Using yeast from previous brew

In my experience just taking the yeast out of the fridge prior to brewing and letting it warm up before pitching it into the wort at around 20C works fine. Would maybe consider making a starter or pitching 2 if my SG was particularly high but other than that should all be fine. I've also...
