Anyone fitted a brewferm tap to a Wilko FV?

Hi I fitted one of these recently to make a bottling bucket. I used a 25mm q-max cutter and then a bit of rolled up sandpaper to open up the hole a little so the tap fitted easier. The washer needs to go on the outside. It will leak if it is on the inside.

    Solar panels.

I had solar panels installed last year just after all the nice dry sunny weather. I have a small roof that is SSW facing so the maximum that could be fitted was 10 x 260W panels, i.e. a 2.6kW system. The roof is quite shallow so the sun needs to be reasonably high for maximum benefit. I have...

Bottled after 7 days in the FV and primed with 1 tsp of table sugar per 500ml After 8 weeks it is well carbonated with a good head, very tasty like a stronger flavoured Coopers Lager. I think...

    Hi everyone

Hi everyone. I’m relatively new to home brewing. Started my first brew last September, mainly Coopers kits so far but have a Raja’s Reward in the FV at the moment. I found this forum about 3 brews in and has been really helpful, full of good advice. Thanks everyone Andy
