How long can you store IPA in a keg in room temperature? And how long in a fridge? And what about other styles like lagers, porters etc?

Thinking to brew IPA while the temperature is still above 16 centigrade in my garage, then I am thinking to brew lagers. The question is how long I take store them in a room temperature and if I keep the brew in the fridge? Thanks
