Bottled this 10 days ago and popped a bottle in the fridge earlier tonight. Wow! I think this might be the best beer I’ve ever made!

Beaverdale Merlot - First wine kit

There are some terrible wines served in pubs that SWMBO turns her nose up at. She’s not a wine snob, but doesn’t drink wine she’s not 100% happy with aunsure....

Beaverdale Merlot - First wine kit

After a good few kit brews, some Turbo cider and moving onto BIAB AG brewing, I started thinking about wine. My wife is nervous that it won’t be as good as the ALDI Malbec she likes. Went for a 6 bottle kit as I’ve got a few DJs hanging about! Made up as per instructions and after 24hrs it...

    AG12 - MAXI BIAB

So I rigged up a Filtration / Lauter isn’t setup using my bottling bucket, mashing bag and an upturned colander to support my ‘too small’ bag! Seems to have worked Ok, but need to improve my sparging technique as it got a bit stuck / airlocked! Onto the boil now, 15L pan quite full with...

    Full Marks to Brew Store

That’s my LHBS - been going there since I started brewing and had some really good advice from Davie! My son said it was like an “old fashioned” shop because of all the wooden shelves and interesting smells :laugh8:

    AG#10 - First one for a while

Got this bottled on Sunday afternoon with help from my daughter. Had a bit of an Oops when the bottling stick became detached from the hose! Twentysething bottles sitting in the fermentation fridge at 20 degrees. Will stick one half bottle in the fridge on Friday to see what it tastes like!
