I'd think the cloudiness could be from adding the grain steepings to the FV without being boiled first? (Or did you?)

That's one of the most brilliant things I've seen...fantastic! Can't seem to find the post about fitting the element into the side of the bucket though (probably just my lack of experience finding my way around here..) I'm going to give this a go, looks great!

Newbie here (to the forum, not to homebrewing, 14 years in, and god only knows how many batches!!!) . Anyway, that boiler looks F***ing brilliant! I'd just love to know how it's all put together, can those joints (sillicone?) witstand the boiling temps safely???
