    Bottle bombs?

Hi everyone, Thanks for all your replies. Before fetching the fermenter in from the garage I was a bit worried about infection but I didn't see/smell any sign of anything while I was bottling so fingers crossed I've got away with it. It sounds like the consensus is I'll likely be ok with the...

    Bottle bombs?

Hi all, Last year I brewed a Brewferm Christmas Beer. I started it late July with a SG of 1065°, had difficulty getting it down to the bottling gravity of 1020° (took a month) and it ended up as fizzy is a fizzy thing - even blew the bottoms off a couple of bottles (all over my parents...

Advice on a couple of homebrews I've got going.

Hi folks, Last year was my first year for homebrew. I started out with a Woodfordes Wherry kit which went into a pressure barrel and worked out ok but was a bit yeasty. I did the same brew again a few weeks ago, but this time I racked into a secondary fermenter for a week before bottling to get...
