What are you drinking tonight 2022?

I was hoping you’d offer some tasting notes… I’ll just have to buy & try then!

    Leadership Debate

I wouldn’t describe that as negative thinking at all. Some people just don’t have the skill set to start their own business, and it can take many years to develop your skills to be able to set up on your own. I had to work for some large companies for a good ten years before I could go...

    Hot Weather Preparations

It’s a Voss on a pale ale. it’s been 25-30C for 3 days and is now below 1010, so super fast and nearly there already! Crystal, mosaic & citra so I’m after something fruity. Thinking of harvesting the yeast for a pineapple beer next.

    Hot Weather Preparations

I’m using the heatwave to brew a Kveik pale ale - my first attempt with this yeast. It’s been running at 35C during the day and 25C overnight so looks like it will be done in three days.

The end of the road for Boris.

But they are not the same thing because you’re not actually voting for the PM at all, you are merely voting for your local candidate. Its quite easy to verify this, just take a look at your ballot paper because there is no box for the PM. Thats also why his party can remove him at any time.

The end of the road for Boris.

And here in lies one of the biggest problems in UK politics because we don’t actually vote for a PM. You can only vote for Starmer if he’s standing as your MP.

    Going back to kits?

I’m wondering if I’m in the minority here then, as I buy extract, yeast and hops separately and vary rarely do grain. Currently I’ve got tins of Maria Otter extract and sometimes add small amounts of grain such as caramalt or Carapils etc depending on what I’m looking for.

What are you drinking tonight 2022?

Trying out my Big Wave clone while the sun is still shining. Getting gentle orange and pineapple back notes but not quite as crisp as the original. Definitely one of the best beers I’ve brewed in my 30 months of home brewing though!

What are you drinking tonight 2022?

Now I’m not a morning drinker by any stretch, but when you get to the airport and beer is cheaper than coffee or Cola…

What are you drinking tonight 2022?

I guess that’s the problem of being away from home, you have no idea what the food is!

What are you drinking tonight 2022?

Cocktails for a change - Cofete Beach anyone?

What are you drinking tonight 2022?

This had been proper slow cooked, was ok but not a favourite. Paired it with a glass of local red wine actually, but on second thoughts I agree that the ale would have been a better choice.

What are you drinking tonight 2022?

    Partygate a new low.

Indeed - Boris is a serial liar and has lost jobs before because he can’t tell the truth. I just wonder how we got to be in this state in the first place…
