    My Keezer Build.

Thanks @Martin O . Yeah, I'm keen to do it but a bit of research to do first. One of those things that you only get one shot at! 🤔

    Heating Tube for Fermenter Fridge

Just another thought @Kye . I've installed a couple of USB 140mm fans in my keezer after reading that they help to remove hotspots. £17 delivered from Amazon. They may well be available elsewhere cheaper too. I've plugged them into the same double socket that the inkbird controls the heating...

What are you drinking tonight 2021?

3Ravens Brewery salted caramel milkshake IPA. Very nice, great aromas and aftertaste, quite sweet. Balanced off with tonight's "well too hot" shawarma!

    Welcome @baran 🍻

    What did you do today?

Far too long a day signed in at work. Started at 6.30am and finished at 5.00pm 😞 however, I really am grateful for the fact I can work. I managed to sneak out at lunch to fit two USB fans to the keezer and after work, returned to tidy up the cables. Made chicken shawarma wraps for dinner...

    My Keezer Build.

Cheers @Gerryjo 👍 Looking forward to getting some actual homebrew in it :beer1:

    My Keezer Build.

Wee lunchtime hack completed. Two 140mm USB fans installed in the keezer to help circulate the air if the temperature drops below the required setting and the heater kicks in. Heat, cold and fans all controlled by the inkbird. Just the wires to tidy up now and it's job done ✔🍺

    Latest bit of kit acquired

I think with induction hobs it's the pot base material that's important. Solid is better than made up of layers. Any pot should have a squiggle symbol to indicate it's suitable. Not sure about overhangs though 🤔

    Floating dip/transfer tube

    That's a mind boggling set-up @Buffers brewery ! Good work 👏

    Pub quality extract kit.

    Makes sense @cjibbo , thanks 👍

    Pub quality extract kit.

I was trying to find this out. Using the kit straight away is probably the best solution but if it has to be stored for a few days, what's the best way of doing that?

    Floating dip/transfer tube

Missed an opportunity to use one of my favourite sayings! Fail to prepare, prepare to fail. Definitely, this forum, Google and YouTube have been my go-to places for research over the past few weeks 👍

Nice, cracking set up that 👌

    Heating Tube for Fermenter Fridge

Not sure if this is what you mean but my keezer is in an uninsulated shed in the garden so in winter temperatures regularly drop below freezing. The heating tube helps maintain a +°c during the winter. I never thought about thermostat or non thermostat versions to be honest, not sure if non...

    Floating dip/transfer tube

Liking that 👌 3D printers! Homebrewing really has come into the modern age 👩‍🔬👨‍🔬. I'm thinking about connecting my lid to a sanitised keg to use the co2 to purge prior to closed transfer 🤔

    What did you do today?

Oh that sounds good. Absolutely appreciate the at home working over going into the office. Cheffing like never before 😆 Lunches that you'd never experience in the work's canteen👍

    Floating dip/transfer tube

Great shout! I've loads of fishing swivels, never gave them a thought. Cheers 🍻 200ml. Sorry, is that 200mm?
  19. EveryoneKnowsADave

    What did you do today?

Yeah Cisco/jabber. I've experienced both and both are good 👍

    What did you do today?

😆 you are spot on but, they came as a pair for 17 quid delivered so I couldn't refuse. I'm putting one above the heater aiming horizontally and one on the underside of the lid aiming vertically which should hopefully swirl things around nicely.
