    Haha. I tipped it all in. I got about 2 inches of mushy hops sitting at the bottom of my carboy, so if it's a nutrient for the yeast, my yeast will be having a party. Think I'll siphon off to secondary FV in a few days after primary slows down and leave the sludge.

    Yeah. I used a sanitised muslin bag on the out end of the siphon when I transferred to bottling bucket, tied on with cotton. Seems to have worked a treat, the beer is free from stray bits of hop material. Got 32 bottles of IPA to look forward to drinking and sharing. Cheers. :cheers1:

    I'll be bottling my first batch of beer at the weekend into glass bottles and want to add the finishing touch by adding a self-designed label. Any tips on type of label or adhesive to use to make sure I can get the thing off again when I come to re-use the bottle?
