It's quite a pricey kit though. Hopefully you enjoy it. I didn't like it at all when I tied it after around 8 weeks conditioning and it was destined for the sink until a post by Ale House Rock convinced me to give it a stay of execution. I'll give it until the end of April then try it again.

Is this based on Dortmunder Union Export? I used to drink that in Germany back in the middle 80's. It was very popular in the Monchengladbach area but when I went back in 2000 it had completely disappeared.
