I brewed with my grown hops today. so 4.7kg pale 300g carapils mash 65c for 60 mins mashout 72c for 10 min sparge 74c Boil 60 mins 30 ibu Magnum 15 mins 27g my mix of fuggles and prima gold and 5 mins 27g as above 0 mins 8 g of above letting it cool over night then pitch with cml us ale yeast...

So my 500g has dried to about 110g what to do next? Was thinking of adapting a Greg Hughes single hop recipe (4.7kg pale and 235g carapils) but use a known hop for bittering (probably magnum to 30 ibu). Assuming my hops are about 5% just split 20/20/50g for last 15/5/0 of the boil then last 20...

In West London - do they grow through the winter? Just assumed they died back and then sprouted up early next year. Yes the roots are coming out the bottom of the pots so will pot on asap.

Just harvested mine - 500g of a mixture of Fuggles and Brewers Gold (grew across each other so couldn't separate - have to work out new way to grow next year). Hope to get 100g once I've dried them - have to look for best way to do this. Then a brew.

My two pots (a fuggles and a brewers gold) have both sprung up well. I top dresses the pots with some 6x fertiliser. Have to go back through the thread to see how to train them this year (just let the grow as the felt last year). Think it is cut back all but 3 or 4 runners?

No sorry mine was the 30l one but still pleased with it. Have had to change the outlet filter as the one they supplied was too fine and clogged up all the time.

I tested my raspberry wheat Keg was clogged at first but got it out. Needs a bit more time to clear so had a kolsch instead
