Just picked up 2 insulated foam camping mats at Tesco for £2.50 a pop. As I don't yet have a brew fridge these are great for keeping a bit of heat in the FV's. Probably long enough to make 2 blankets from each mat for a standard FV. They have straps as well to keep them in place. Seems like...

That's a very good point actually. The neck is quite narrow, about 6cm wide although with enough work it would come clean each time. I'll give one a go and see how it goes. What's the worse that can happen.
