@Wobbly13 Do it. What dies the pinter 2 offer?

    Hello From Chorley

...member but lurker. I used to brew kits about 10 years ago (I'm sure I was a member here or over at Jim's). I got back into brewing through Pinter about 18 months ago. Since then it's been a decent progression. Numerous Pinter's, brew fridge and then more recently a Fermzilla All-Rounder...

    2 week Helles

Was thinking of having a go at AG with my old Pinter 1 as I now have a Pinter 2 and the old one will soon be out of warranty, it could prove to be a useful fermenting and dispensing system for small batches.

    Hello from Glasgow

Welcome to the forum from another Stirling based brewer. Started off last year with a Pinter, but now transitioning to All Grain. Just got a Grain Father and can’t wait to get it up and running.

    PINTER beer system

Trappist just to provide a different perspective, used mine over the break and for a New England IPA worked a treat, lovely brew minimum fuss.

    Acquired a Pinter

Hello all, I have recently come into possession of a Pinter and whilst I have no interest in using it to brew any of their packs I was wondering if I could add 5 litres out of my bucket add some carb drops and let the beer condition for 3 or 4 weeks inside it, then when it was time I could just...

    PINTER beer system

Would love to see a picture of the set up. Can’t comment as to whether it will work, but can’t see why not.

    DME Brewing

Hello, I used to have a pinter and I had the same issue with all 9 brews thatI done. I changed the yeast and I got a little better FG however it still wasn’t great. As an experiment I used two Pinter press and put it into a normal fermenter and changed the yeast. I was then able to control the...

    PINTER beer system

...in a container as they can leak, though 🤞 never experienced. What I particularly liked was being able to brew 10 pints of one style one month & another the next. Don’t want to drink 40 pints of just one style. Split down a Festival Weiss Beer kit and brewed it in the Pinter 2 worked very well.

    PINTER beer system

...is. You may require different PSI depending on beer style. - Taking a gravity sample would essentially mean releasing all/most pressure in Pinter. - No way to increase pressure other than the natural CO2 from fermentation. - If you are racking to a secondary, then you cannot close transfer...

Anyone got some part mash recipes?

40 Pinter and that was the final reading after topping up to about 22L, looking back I used 1kg of brew sugar. If I remember correctly some of it is unfermentables? There really wasn't much room in the pot so I drained then sparged pretty liberally, the mash time was probably about 90 mins...

    PINTER beer system

I have been looking at these and I suppose the mane advantage is being able to cold crash in a normal fridge but they are far too expensive at the moment

    Hi from Edinburgh

Hi wobbly, That sounds exactly like the path I'm headed down. Thinking off a small 1 gallon batch using a 7.8l pot I have and using one of the pinters to ferment.

    Pinter free to good home

I have a Greater Good Pinter free to a good home. The brew dock pegs are broken (see arrows in pics) so it's the barrel only, but if you have one with the brew dock already you can condition one whilst brewing another. Free, but I'd be grateful for cost of postage.

    Pinter cask and future

There are several threads about the Pinter on the forum (this is the biggest) it never took off here i think the general opinion is you can get better beer cheaper from kits and a far greater choice. https://www.thehomebrewforum.co.uk/threads/pinter-beer-system.92034/

Trappist agree, hence my caveat ‘supposedly unbiased’ I trust very few on social media, especially the influencers.

...negative remarks on his comments sections that were removed. I’m not saying he’s a paid shill, but judging by his almost totally positive reviews of the Pinter 1 and the speed of which he received the Pinter 2 with their ongoing delivery issues, I suspect he’s at least got some deal with them.
