My father and brother have asked me to make a stout, so I am going to make the stout and I am going to add potatoes. When I make the stout I will make some potato bread at the same time, while I am not a big beer drinker I do love my bread.

That's because you are using fast action yeast. He recommends one teaspoon of sugar to one table spoon of dry active yeast in 150 mm of warm water and dissolve the sugar first before adding the yeast to reactivate the yeast. He also uses sugar in one of his videos saying it makes for a better...
Can you still get bread mixes for the machines. The supermarkets used to carry them but I haven't seen them for a while. I liked the Potato Bread mix my mum used to get.
I didn't think people used bread makers any more, the Op shops seems to be full of them.
Sugar helps the crust form according to your own Paul Hollywood😍 He puts sugar in his bread, good enough for him it's good enough for me.
11/2 teaspoons / 500g
It is supposedly good for the yeast, but only a small amount is needed, if any. Cold break will always get into the fermenter, just doesn't appear until the temperature has dropped right down. 15C
Here in Australia we do have room for asylum seekers, problem is they arrive here with no papers! Hence the Port Moresby solution. Boat people aren't illiterate, once they know they will be shipped to Port Moresby they don't want to come here. So I would say that what your government is doing is...
Back now after a long road trip to Melbourne, Bevie being keen to get the ball rolling are shipping the first shipment by air. Obviously this will not include the bigger items so just the smaller ones. Twist taps, the Spundy and Quickie, PRV's so they will be in the UK fairly quickly. The larger...
I see you had 72% BHF in your program, if you bring that percentage down until it corresponds with the OG you got then next time you will know you aren't going to be far off.

I would be interested to know what efficiency you dialled into Brewers Friend? If you have a 75% efficiency on a regular ABV brew and you then programme a brew with a higher grain bill and no sparge, as Sadfield says your efficiency will fall. Try dialling 55 or 60% and you will see to reach the...
What you are doing is being obsessive about the amount of priming sugar without considering the other variables.
How much fermentable sugar is left in the solution you are going to prime?
What is the volume of the solution you are going to prime seeing you are priming into the fermenter with...
It's all very well getting pedantic about the priming sugar/dextrose, but you don't seem to have mentioned how much dissolved co2 is in the solution.

I have a 9 hour round trip to Melbourne this week to visit Home Make It in Clayton for sausage making supplies. Keg King is 5 minutes away, I have to call in there to get some brewing supplies, while I am there I will ask Daniel for more info to pass on to you guys.
