    Bottled beer cure

OK , I get that , so when I get a carbonation drop asI do and I am using a 500ml bottle usually , I should halve the amount is what your saying . Drops are calculated for 370ml roughly. I try and lessen sediment by putting the hops in a muslin bag. Eruption doesnt always throw up the sediment ...

    Bottled beer cure

This is possibly the cause . All bottles are sterilised and thouraghly cleaned . final gravity is always pretty much to values recommended. So what is the solution , I have tried putting the hops in a Muslin bag , to stop hop trails of particles moving into the bottles. Not all bad , but...

    Gallstones, the enemy of homebrewing

Interesting reading, I have been using Diclophenic Sodium , along with Ometrazol, for the adverse effects on the stomach, which works , but can take a week. Maybe try 100mg of that Allopurine or Colchacine which is less needy.

    The gamechanger!

That's good info, temperature might have been too low although it was the Summer but a Scottish one at that! Retention of gas did get better lower down, but a lot of Co2 needed.Ill stick with bottles meantime.

    The gamechanger!

Can't get any success with keeping, what are you doing it in please? I am doing bucket brewing and bottling , very successful at that Putting into a pressure barrel with priming sugar does not work , beer is flat. Checked for leaks and there are none.

Chabge of Malt or mistake with Carbonation

Yes, a valid point, thank you. Didnt know this could change.. However this brew kit was bought for me , by the same person who started my homebrewing a year ago, and my purchases have been based on what I have been ordering before. So yeah , that is maybe the answer to all this.

Chabge of Malt or mistake with Carbonation

Ah OK, thanks , so quite crucial to get bottling a little sooner, as the brew earlier was or I finished it earlier. Still don't discount colour which has been constant for a year. Not to worry, thanks again.
