What are you drinking tonight 2021?

This is my first Brewferm Christmas ale, the 1 tin, 9l yield kit, bottled with no added sugar at bottling, July 2020. Promise its not Pepsi. Nice hiss on opening. No head what so ever, yet can see carbonation fine bubbles. Has a dark brown sugar caramel like flavour, a light bitter after taste...

What are you drinking tonight 2021?

Yes, it's one you'll drink, nothing wrong(as in off flavour or anything) with it, but after 1 glass would move on, just lacking something. If I were to make it again, I'd want to pimp it. Spice, orange peel or something,; dry hop....brewed well enough, no agro, just expecting ... flavour

What are you drinking tonight 2021?

Cracked open a Love Brewing Goose IPA, bottled last Saturday. A lot darker than the previous brew but the flavour of the hops, Simcoe, I find really pleasurable.

What are you drinking tonight 2021?

On a late mammoth christmas bottling spree, so on remnants tonight. Tastes good but ... Started all 3 kits on the 20 November Love brewing goose and Redneck then Woodford Tinsel. Hops on the love brewing kits pulled through the sock blocking the little bottler. Not the best of evenings.

    WEIRDEST WINE EVER MADE?

Agree, prune wine didn't taste good for me either. It fermented fine, some told me it wouldn't because of the preservatives in the prunes.

Should you trust your digital scales?

And repeated accurate, without splashback. In my student days we were taught to put solution into a burette and read from that point rather than fill to 100ml or what ever. Secondly scales need to be level. The load cells are either one centrally or in an X formation and perform a calculation...
