    New nanobrewery coming along

Yes DCBC a purpose made bin is fine with a lid, rats/mice can chew through the grain bag and contaminate it

    New nanobrewery coming along

Trom man76, that’s a fab set up, I’m currently extending my shed so that I can venture into the AG brewing, small scale for friends and family. My local brewery started back brewing yesterday, the smell in the air was fantastic (only live 100 yds away). One point you may need to get that grain...

    What’s this on a keg

No didn’t buy, when I saw the blue thing I thought it was a pressure valve or something similar and wanted to check with those who know before I took the plunge.

    What’s this on a keg

I’ll have to go back to the seller to get a better picture, it’s a strong bow keg, wasn’t sure if it’s some type of pressure valve

    Newbie with some questions

Thanks guys, I’ve watched a few more videos and read a lot more, need to crack on with my man cave to give me away space from SWMBO 😁. Those automated brewing things like Brewmeister and grainfather are very impressive though, but out of my budget unless mr lotto comes knocking 😂. I’ve got a...

    Newbie with some questions

Hi everyone, I’ve done a little brewing using kits back in the tom Caxton days and dabbled with Home made wines. At the moment I’m reading and learning what I can from the forum and YouTube on grain brewing, Guinness is my preferred drink and have found this clone Which I would like to try, but...

    Felinfoel double dragon export

Called in my local tonight for a pint, next to the double dragon was a double dragon export. Unfortunately there was a beer towel over the pump as they ran out last night. Spoke to a few of the lads who reckoned it's nicer than double dragon will have to call over again I suppose 😁

    Brewferm Abdij

I've just bought this kit, will hopefully get it on the go this week, not having brewed for many a year do I need to put sugar in the bottle which will leave a sediment or could I use carbon drops I've seen advertised to avoid a sediment?
