When you say ' as a starter' what would someone who bought this perhaps progress to? A brew pot?

You shouldn't have any problems capping - some bottles are a bit more awkward than others but nothing that should cause you to break them! Anyway - I'm pretty certain you couldn't re-use bent caps and they wouldn't be air-tight. What you using to cap the bottles?

It's GEB. Already ordered. Not too bothered about the delay, off on holiday soon so won't be brewing until I get home. Do the connectors you talk about require any welding or do they just slip on?
