    Wort chiller pump problem

Hi all, Looking to get everything set up for my first all grain brew - hopefully this weekend. I've attached the hoses to each end of the wort chiller with jubilee clips and was hoping to use the submersible pump I bought...

Get Er Brewed BIAB All Grain Starter Kit

All delivered and looking forward to getting my first AG brew on next week. A substantial amount of grains came with this, way more that i expected! As a previous poster somewhere mentioned, i'll probably need to sort something to prop the false bottom up so it's not just resting on the...

    Biab

When you say ' as a starter' what would someone who bought this perhaps progress to? A brew pot?

    Re-using crown caps

You shouldn't have any problems capping - some bottles are a bit more awkward than others but nothing that should cause you to break them! Anyway - I'm pretty certain you couldn't re-use bent caps and they wouldn't be air-tight. What you using to cap the bottles?

Get Er Brewed BIAB All Grain Starter Kit

It's GEB. Already ordered. Not too bothered about the delay, off on holiday soon so won't be brewing until I get home. Do the connectors you talk about require any welding or do they just slip on?

Get Er Brewed BIAB All Grain Starter Kit

Thanks for the help so far. Due to get this next week sometime - they're saying due to massive demand they're waiting on chillers coming through before they can ship out the kits. One more question - what exactly will i need to get the copper wort chiller working? is it just a case of buying...

Get Er Brewed BIAB All Grain Starter Kit

Coagulated proteins?! Nobody warned me about these! Is this left at the bottom of the brew?

Get Er Brewed BIAB All Grain Starter Kit

Thanks for the replies, very helpful. Although, why is the tap getting blocked. Isn't everything apart from liquid contained within the bag?

Get Er Brewed BIAB All Grain Starter Kit

Took the plunge and ordered this today after being enthused by Clibit's 'simple AG' post. I've only done kits before so looking forward to this. The kit comes with a lot of bits I already have from brewing kits but the boiler, false bottom, wort chiller and the grain kit combined seemed than...

    Bottles

The best bottles I've found are Aldi's Berliner Kindl Pilsner bottles. 99p each, labels slip off in dishwasher and easy to cap. It's quite decent to drink too - great review. https://www.aldi.co.uk/en/product-range/drinks/ales-lager-and-cider/lager/lager-product-detail-page/ps/p/german-pilsner/

    Corny Keg Fridge Required?

Hi Chewie, thanks for the reply. I actually have a fridge waiting but I just wondered if it was a necessity. Like would the pour be mega frothy without one etc.

    Corny Keg Fridge Required?

Hi all, new to the forum, hopefully the first of many posts and contributions! I'm in the middle of gathering together all the bits and pieces to dispense homebrew kits from corny kegs. I was wondering if a fridge was required to cool down the keg prior to dispensing and initially...
