    Erik The Anglophile's brewdays.

This is the 1885 Kirkstall L. Mighty fine pint, I understand why so many beers back then were basically just Chev and sugar, cause you really don't need much else. This malt packs a ton of flavour. Lots of toffee notes and a hint of coffee roast/toast, and that's with absolutely zero crystal...

    Gaming in 1988

My impression is that engines, in-game physics/mechanics etc have developed a lot. At the cost of writing and story lines, Fallout 4 for example and likely 5 when it realeases is nothing compared to FO 1+2 and New Vegas. But that may also be related to Bethesda being lazy arsoles dropping...

    Help sexing hop

Well first off you are supposed to be harvesting the plants, not sexing them... But those look like female flowers, for reference these are male ones.

    Hop growing in northwest

If you can get somewhat cold winters where you live you might be out too late and better off keeping them in pots over winter and planting them outside next spring.

    Hop growing in northwest

Let them grow in pots a while inside first so they grow sturdier roots, then keep them outside for a few days to let them acclimate before planting. I don't know how cold winters you guys get but I learned the hard way that making sure the crowns are below soil and putting some leaves or...

    80 bob recipe

Many older export and/or 80 shilling ales from before ww1 when they where stronger and started to darken a bit were often just Chevalier malt ( I suppose something like crisp or simpson vienna could work), maybe a few percent maize, occasionally a little crystal, and dark invert and a little...

    Which fridge for kegerator?

I roll my lines up like pic related, and also the door "modification" I mentioned earlier. It looks like you might be able to fit a third keg in there if you do something similair.
  16. Erik The Anglophile

    Which fridge for kegerator?

Just make sure you, if you like me, roll your PE tubes for the beer up and ziptie the roll, have enough lenght to safely open the door without ripping something out.
  17. Erik The Anglophile

    Which fridge for kegerator?

Somewhat modern standing fridges have no wiring or tubes in the side or door, meaning you can safely drill holes to connect gas lines and mount faucets etc.

    Erik The Anglophile's brewdays.

I'll report back when I taste it, it will likely sit 5-6 weeks before I taste since I am gonna go away for a few weeks soon.

    Recipe help.

I'd probably do as you said, light IPA grain and hop bill but treat it as a lager when you ferment.
