    I go, degass in carboy (wand + sit down on my bench with it on my knee and do calf raises..) clear syphon into 5l water pets leave until needed then syphon again into 5l bag in box when needed by the 2nd bag in box filling it's crystal clear.. 1st one may be a little hazy.

    I have just completed a Beaverdale nebbiolo and it is good from the off and am sure will get better with age. I have 15l of it in 5l water bottles aging. Is it best to get that lot into bag in boxes? or just keep dark and cool.... AND I like it but what's next? a step up? maybe some...

    it really was good! so thanks for the recipe. I put 9 teaspoons in about 4.2 litres.. may up it to 11 next time. Not that much sediment in the bottom and easily avoidable when decanting. I will just transfer to fridge well in advance on decanting to allow it to settle again in future/
