    How to reduce alcohol content.

That's what I am concerned about. I really made this to be a summer beer but made a mistake in the ingredients. Thanks for the reply.

    How to reduce alcohol content.

Is it possible to reduce the alcohol content of my kit beer? It's a wilko Cervesa kit that I have tweaked and at the present time, after 13 days in the FV, it's about 5.2%. I was aiming for it to finish at about 4.5%ish. The FV has 21 litres in it. Is it possible just to add water? Any views on...

That sounds interesting, any more details; quantities, volume, temperature, etched?

Sanitising - How anal about it are you?

I bottled a kit a few years ago and when I came to start drinking them, one had a big spider in it. Tasted ok though, well to be honest I didn't actually try it. After I removed it, my mate necked the whole pint. Thought it wise not to tell him....

Have a go at simple AG

Well it's the first time I've tried AG, so it will just be a learning curve. I will definitely be trying this again but I think I will try a more vigorous boil and measure out the water more accurately next time (I ended up with 10.75 of wort )

I made this today, doubled up to 10L. My Wilcos stockpot was just the right size. Only thing was the OG was 1.034

Thank's, not too sure my stock pan will be bigger enough. Might just stick to the 5l brew

Have a go at simple AG

Thanks for that, I normally do kits and add about 600g of various grains but I'll definitely try this.

Have a go at simple AG

Another question, sorry! I am planning to make a 10l batch, do I have to double up on the water or can I add it to the fermenter at the end? Have you any idea what strength this is likely to be? Thank's.

What temperature should it be fermented at? Could I use Vienna Pale Malt? .

    Coopers Fermenter Snap Tap

Hello Chaps, anyone know the cheapest place to buy this? Found it online but the postage is dearer than the tap :?
